Romania weather update: warm temperatures, frequent rains. The National Meteorological Administration has updated its forecast for 26 January-23 February. Temperatures will be above normal across most of the country, especially in the mountains and southeast. Precipitation will be higher than average, mainly in the Southern Carpathians. In the second week the average temperatures remain above normal but rainfall is close to normal. The third week shows slightly above‑normal temperatures and modest excess rainfall in the west and south. The final week sees mild temperature increases and a small excess of precipitation nationwide. No major weather alerts are issued yet, but residents are advised to prepare for wet conditions.
