US President Donald Trump has unveiled a plan to transform Gaza into a Middle‑East resort through a ten‑year American administration. The proposal, dubbed the Gaza Reconstruction, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust, aims to relocate 2 million residents, offer them $5,000 to move, and invest $100 billion in luxury hotels, smart towns and data centres. The plan was presented at Davos and endorsed by Jared Kushner. Regional actors Egypt and Jordan have rejected the idea, while Israel shows interest for strategic military use.
