Romania updates SUMAL app to curb illegal timber transport

Romania updates the SUMAL electronic transport system to prevent illegal timber shipments. Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu announced on Tuesday that the app now requires freight companies to not only issue but also upload a transport voucher before loading the cargo.
