Seven Greek supporters were killed in a road crash on DN6 near Lugojel, Timiș County, Romania. 10 people were on a minibus that carried PAOK Thessaloniki football fans bound for a Europa League match in France. 7 fatalities, all Greek citizens, and 3 injured (ages 20, 20, 28) were transported to Pius Brînzeu Hospital in Timișoara. The injured are in various specialties - polytraumatology, orthopedics and neurosurgery - and are stable but their condition remains dynamic. Romanian Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete said he is in continuous contact with the Greek health minister and has communicated condolences to the families. Some PAOK supporters came to Lugoj to view the crash site. Rogobete thanked the medical staff for their rapid and professional response.
