Russia launched a large‑scale nighttime air attack on Ukraine on 25 January, deploying two Iskander‑M ballistic missiles and over 100 Shahed‑type drones from the Bryansk region. Ukrainian air defence shot down 87 drones by 08:30 hrs, but 15 drones struck targets in Harkov, Cernăuţi and Poltava.
