A gender equality NGO, Centrul Filia, has criticized the Romanian branch of home improvement retailer Leroy Merlin for a sexist advertisement display in their stores. The ad shows a mother and daughter doing housework while the father and son listen to music and play together. The NGO argues that the image promotes harmful stereotypes about women's roles in families and contributes to the perpetuation of unequal distribution of household chores in Romania.
