Romanian Navy neutralised a failed naval mine on the beach in front of the Midia firing range near Constanţa. The mine was discovered at about 10:00 and neutralised around 14:00 by EOD divers of the 39th Diving Center, following procedures set by the Ministry of National Defence. Since the outbreak of the Ukraine conflict, the Romanian Navy has neutralised eight of the 149 mines found in the Black Sea basin. The perimeter was secured with the support of the Constanţa County Police Inspectorate. No casualties were reported and the area was cleared for use.
