Oțelul Galați secured a 3‑0 victory over FK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc in the 23rd round of the Romanian SuperLiga. The match, held at Oțelul’s home stadium, was interrupted in the 81st minute when the night‑time lights went out due to a city‑wide power outage. After a brief pause, the lights were restored with a backup generator and play resumed about 25 minutes later, though the VAR system was not available. Oțelul opened the scoring with Patrick in the 5th minute, added a second goal via Pedro in the 9th, and sealed the win with a penalty from Pedro in the 68th minute. The result moved Oțelul up to 6th place with 36 points, tied with U Cluj on points but ahead on goal difference. Csikszereda remained 14th with 19 points. The next round of the league will be played at Arad, featuring UTA versus Rapid.
