Romanian troops at the Midia firing range discovered a failed naval mine on a nearby beach on January 28. The perimeter was secured with Constanța County Police support and an EOD team from Center 39 was deployed to identify and neutralise the mine. Authorities advise the public to stay away until the operation is complete.
