A mother and her 5‑year‑old daughter were injured in Bistricioara when the car they were in skidded on ice, overturned into a ditch, and rolled over. Mountain gendarmes arrived quickly, provided first aid and calmed the child. Police and firefighters also responded, and the mother and daughter were taken to hospital for treatment. An investigation into the incident is underway.
