Milano Cortina 2026 will run from February 6 to 22, 2026 across eight northern Italian towns, including Milano, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Bormio, Livigno and Antholz/Anterselva. The Games will feature 116 events in 16 disciplines for about 3,500 athletes from roughly 93 countries. Romania will field 29 athletes. Russia and Belarus are excluded from participation. The opening ceremony is scheduled for Milano. Andrea Bocelli will perform at the opening. The event is the first multi‑regional Winter Olympics, using existing infrastructure across the region.
