Microbus crash on DN6 near Lugoj, Romania On Tuesday, a microbus travelling from Greece to France collided with a truck on DN6 - E70 near Lugoj in Timiș County. The bus, carrying 10 passengers, failed to complete an overtaking maneuver, veered left, and struck a cargo truck in the opposite lane. The collision caused the bus to be projected onto the opposite traffic, killing seven people and injuring three. Defensive‑driving expert Titi Aur explained that the bus driver may have suffered an incapacitating event or a strong distraction inside the vehicle, making the sudden left turn impossible. He noted that the truck driver had no time to avoid the impact and was not at fault. Aur urged drivers to exercise caution and drive preventively. Investigation into the exact cause remains ongoing.
