In a Facebook post, PSD deputy Marius Budăi criticized Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for comparing Romania’s tax rates to those of the European Union, saying the comparison was misleading and omitted key factors such as wages, inflation, pensions and progressive taxation. Budăi argued that Romanians struggle not because of high taxes but because of low incomes and high inflation, and warned that the PSD will not support any government budget or package that does not include concrete social policies or income increases for seniors.
