Lane assist system linked to tragic bus accident in Timiș A minibus carrying Greek PAOK supporters crashed on DN E70 near Timișoara, killing seven people, including the driver. Survivor said the lane‑assist system locked the steering during an overtaking maneuver, preventing the driver from correcting the vehicle’s path. The minibus collided with a truck, killing six passengers and the driver; three others were injured and are hospitalized at the County Hospital in Timișoara. Greek supporters were travelling to France when the journey was cancelled. Investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the crash.
