Romanian forest guards and police investigated 25 hectares of forest in Băile Felix. 14 unmarked trees were felled illegally, causing an estimated loss of 10,000 lei. Authorities have opened a criminal file over the illegal logging. The case is part of a wider effort to enforce forest protection laws in Romania.
