Germany cannot provide more Patriot systems, calls on allies to step up German defence minister Boris Pistorius said Berlin no longer has capacity to supply Ukraine with additional Patriot air‑defence missiles. He warned that the country is waiting for replacements for systems already delivered. Pistorius added that the number of IRIS‑T launchers supplied to Kyiv is insufficient. The minister urged NATO and EU partners to review their stocks and increase support for Ukraine’s air‑defence. He emphasised that Germany remains the only nation able to deliver IRIS‑T launchers to Ukraine on a continuous basis. The call comes as Russia’s attacks intensify and previous deliveries remain inadequate. The statement was made at a joint press conference with Lithuanian defence minister Arvydas Anušauskas. Earlier, Helmut Rauch of Diehl Defence said nine IRIS‑T launchers are already in use in Ukraine and that the company plans to build up production.
