Jade Scott, a finalist on ITV’s The Traitors, credits her gaming background for helping her stay calm under the show’s intense social‑deduction pressure. The 29‑year‑old, who first discovered Minecraft at 15, says she moved on to strategy‑heavy titles such as Counter‑Strike: Global Offensive, Dota, and indie survival games Project Winter and Dale & Dawson Stationery Supplies. She explains that the skills of observation, note‑taking and logical defence she honed in those games helped her navigate the roundtable debates, where she was repeatedly accused of treachery. Scott admitted she had always wanted to play as the “faithful” and that the game taught her to use logic and recorded observations to protect herself. Despite her preparations, she found herself a constant target of suspicion, but she says her calm, methodical approach, shaped by her gaming experience, enabled her to survive until the finale.
