ROME, Jan 27 - Dragoș Pîslaru, the current Minister of European Funds, has publicly accused former minister Adrian Câciu of mismanaging EU money, claiming that previous governments have "made a dusty shuffle" with the funds. Pîslaru said that the distribution of European funds had been politically driven and that the PSD should clarify whether it is in government or opposition. In response, Câciu posted on Facebook that Pîslaru has lost €7 billion of EU money, citing that Romania attracted €10.4 billion but only €2.5 billion was spent in six months. The exchange highlights growing tensions within Romania over how EU funds are allocated and spent.
