Fatal road accident on Sunday on the boundary between Dâmbovița and Prahova counties near Dițești in the commune of Filipeștii de Pădure, Romania. A 29‑year‑old male was killed when the vehicle he was driving hit a bridge arch and plunged into a ditch. Two other passengers escaped without serious injury. Emergency services from Moreni and the Dâmbovița County ambulance, supported by SMURD, responded quickly and attempted rescue, but the victim was declared dead at the scene.
