ANM releases two‑week weather forecast for Romania The National Meteorological Administration issued its forecast for the period 26 January-8 February 2026, covering all Romanian regions. Temperatures will vary between 4 °C and 14 °C at the high end and -8 °C to 6 °C at the low end. Rain and snowfall are expected throughout the interval, with heavier amounts early on and in mountainous areas. Banat is expected to start warm, with highs around 10 °C and lows 4-6 °C, then cool to 6-8 °C and 0-2 °C. The 28th and 29th will see a rise again to 10-12 °C highs and 2-4 °C lows, followed by a gradual decline to 4-6 °C during the day and stable nights. Light variations will keep highs 8-12 °C and lows -2 to 2 °C. Rain chances remain high throughout. Crișana will also see a warm start, highs 10 °C, lows 4 °C, then a drop to 4 °C and 2 °C, before a rebound on the 28th-29th to 10-12 °C and 0-4 °C. By 2 February temperatures will fall to 6 °C highs and 0 °C lows. The second week will alternate warm and cool periods, with highs 4-14 °C and lows -2 to 2 °C. Precipitation probability stays high, especially early. Transilvania shows daily highs of 8 °C falling to 4 °C, with a rebound on the 28th-29th to 8 °C, stabilising thereafter between 4 and 8 °C. Night lows oscillate between -4 and 2 °C. Precipitation will occur almost daily, heavier at the start. The forecast covers Maramureș, Moldova, Dobrogea, Muntenia, Oltenia and mountainous areas in a similar pattern of fluctuating temperatures and frequent rain or snow.
