Romania’s National Tax Administration (ANAF) announced on January 26 that it has launched ANA, an AI‑powered chatbot designed to provide taxpayers with quick answers about their fiscal obligations. The assistant is currently available only for users in the Private Virtual Space and will later be accessible directly on the ANAF website. ANA is intended to answer frequent questions, especially regarding declarations and tax duties, and its knowledge base will grow with user interactions. Initially it offers general information for individuals earning rental income or running independent activities, with plans to broaden its scope over time. The project is part of ANAF’s e‑services initiative funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
