ANAF launches AI chatbot to aid taxpayers The Romanian tax authority has introduced ANA, an artificial‑intelligence powered virtual assistant, to provide taxpayers with quick answers to common tax questions. The chatbot is currently available in the Virtual Private Space accounts for testing and will later be accessible on the ANAF website. It focuses on individuals with rental income and self‑employed persons, offering general information about declarations and obligations. The service is part of the national recovery plan and is funded by the PNRR.
